PRESIDENT

Brian Reilly

Growing up in a family with three generations of Resident Managers I was introduced to the building service industry at a very young age.

I always knew I wanted to be a Resident Manager someday. I began working summer relief at 17 as a Doorman. After high school, I filled in at various buildings until I was 19 when I became a handyman on the upper east side. It was then that I knew this career was for me. I wanted to learn as much as I could and was lucky enough to have great mentors and teachers that provided me with the skills, lessons, and confidence needed to succeed in this industry. At 21 I became a superintendent of my first building. I went on to run two more buildings and now I am a Resident Manager on the Upper West Side.

Shortly after becoming a Superintendent my cousin Jimmy Brennan who was the president at the time brought me to a meeting as his guest introducing me to the SABMG. It was after that meeting I knew right away this was something I had to be a part of. After attending a few meetings, I became a member and was instantly welcomed into this wonderful group of industry professionals that I am glad to call my friends today. Since then I have served as the sergeant-at-arms and have been a member of multiple event committees.

Brian Reilly quote

I have proudly been a member of the SABMG for 9 years. During that time, I have served as the sergeant-at-arms and been a member of multiple event committees and I now have the honor of serving as an officer of the slate.
