FINANCIAL SECRETARY
Orlando Rondon
I attended my first Scandinavian American Building Management Guild meeting in 2014 and was overwhelmed by the sense of brotherhood. I credit Jimmy Brennan and Brian Reilly for teaching me the guild’s common goal of bettering each other.
I was born on a crisp St. Patrick’s Day in Manhattan, New York. I was raised to respect, appreciate, and honor his elders. One of which, saw my struggles in the corporate world, pointed me in the direction of building management, and changed the course of my life forever.
My first foray into building management was as vacation relief for various buildings until landing a permanent position as a porter. After several positions as a handyman’s assistance and concierge, I earned a position as a building resident manager. Although now I work for a Douglas Elliman building, I attribute most of my practical training to the time when I ran 6 buildings for NYU.

I credit Jimmy Brennan and Brian Reilly for teaching me the guild’s common goal of bettering each other. Wanting to be a part of the filial organization, I didn’t waste any time becoming a member. I find it a tremendous honor to have been added to the current slate and hopes to serve proudly as long as I can, not only for those in the guild who assisted me but all who have pointed me in the right direction throughout my career.
